// Project
Kantolan KunnonSali
A website for a local gym in Hämeenlinna. The website is made with plain HTML and CSS, with some Bootstrap in the mix. The business had a prior website, but it was horribly outdated and not mobile-friendly in the slightest. So the plan for me and my classmate was to make the new website user-friendly and as responsive as we could with our limited knowledge and experience. The end result turned out nicely and the client was very happy with the result and is using the website to this day.
The project was part of HAMK's cSchool program, which was a short month and a half course, for the summer of 2022. I got to work with my classmate and got to learn a lot about working with a client and how to manage a project. This was also the first real project that I got to work on together with another developer, so I learned a lot about version control an co-operative coding. Thank you Wais and Kerttu for the great experience!
The website is completely static and is hosted on the client's prior Elisa web hotel. The only way to get a hold of the backend was to use a FTP client and upload the files manually. This was a bit of a hassle, but as we were only first year students at the time, we didn't really even know what backend was. :D
